And I forgot to buy death by falling satellite insurance. My insurance company tells me it’s not too late, though…

First it was fire and brimstone falling from the skies, then it was asteroids and meteors, , then Skylab, and now it’s satellites. Think I’ll just hide in my bomb shelter.

I posted my property NO SATELLITE IMPACTS ALLOWED and that’s why it didn’t hit me.

Having to work weeks in advance, I timed this arc based on the original estimates of when the satellite was supposed to fall – which was late Sept., – early Oct. This whole series seems dated now.Oh, well …tim rickard

    MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTION.

    Is the sky falling?

    A. YES it is definitely falling.B. NO it is not falling.C. It might be falling.D. It may be falling but as long as it hits somebody else, that’s OK.E. It fell last week but nobody noticed.F. It WILL fall if my demands are not met.G. Who cares?H. Let’s take a vote.I. It’s not my department.J. I’ll have to form a committee and get back to you on this.K. Would you repeat the question?L. I fail to see the relevance of such a question, in light of the serious nature of…M. It depends on what your definition of “sky” is.N. It depends on what your definition of “falling” is.O. None of the above.

In the last panel, it looks like Clark Kent is working for Faux News. Whatever happened to truth, justice, and the American way?

… actually, methinks if there was any real risk of getting hit by any sort of space debris, the hard hat wouldn’t do you a bit of good … I’ve seen photos where a meteorite punched thru an automobile like it was cardboard … best bet, stay in the basement of a building of no less than three stories …

Superman and Clark Kent have usually been portrayed as a Republican-type conservative.
