What were they doing in the dishwasher. The washing machine, for laundry, is where they belong – forgotten in a pocket. And they never come out. Ever. I know this as a fact. Run the dishwasher again and everything will probably be fine.

Well, at least they weren’t trying to wash the cat.
I didn’t know that.
I know however that play-doh and plasticine are a right b*&^*&tch to get out of outdoor furniture when it has had a few days in the sun.
And, in the dryer, too!

They also melt if left on the seat of a car in summer
Giving her another stress ball might have helped more.

She needs to take a tip from the ad where the woman enters her chaos-filled home, then backs out to enjoy the serenity of her car.
Actually it’s “Pampers melt in a Maytag dryer, Crayons go up one drawer higher” (from the song “Mr. Mom” by Lonestar).
