[nerd alert] Now I’m thinking of that old TV show “The Name Of The Game.” Three rotating male leads in a show about a giant magazine empire. And Susan St. James as the only other employee.

They’re just regular PEOPLE.

Whoever the magazine-napper is, he’s a real HUSTLER.

There used to be a large-format pictorial magazine similar to LIFE called LOOK. It shut down during the recession in the early 70s, and one of the wiseguys on the news said “the people working for LOOK are now looking for work.” Ha ha.

Lately I’m feeling like we are in a time loop, reliving the early 70s, but with lousy pop music…

Who the heck collects magazines, unless of course, they are Mad magazines. People used to save their National Geographic mags. Go into any large used bookstore nowadays and you’ll find piles of them.
