According to family Civil War records, I have an ancestor who blew a finger off trying to open a bad bottle of booze. I also didn’t realize there were so many euphemisms for desertion.
I thought it was illegal, immoral, and a bunch of other bad things to even mention the Confederates anymore even though they were, you know, a part of history. I’m so confused about having people try to control my mind.

If it wasn’t a Major or General battle then it must have been a Private battle.

All in all, it was rather civil.

Broomie remembers it like it was yesterday…which at her age was probably when the “battle” happened!

No doubt there’s a statue somewhere commemorating the battle.

I wonder if Broomy read that somewhere or she had been there to witness it.
