    Especially stale, week-old bread.

You had to adjust the spring pressure in that toaster so it would shoot the bread up higher didn’t you Broomie ?

Considering the slang meaning of “Skeet”, you’re supposed to shoot the Skeet, the Skeet isn’t supposed to shoot you

Interesting she uses her left eye to aim but shoots right handed. I could never master that so became a southpaw.

Ooh! Must try that, my toaster did the launching trick a couple of days ago!!Haven’t had a shotgun in a while but a slingshot or catapult would do.

The shooting sports can be expensive (guns, ammunition, range fees, targets, cleaning supplies, transportation to range, etc.), and Broomie always has been (let’s admit it) rather stingy if not impecunious, so blasting toast makes sense. But she may wear out her toaster, constantly launching toast-targets!

Actually, at current prices, bread isn’t any cheaper than clay pigeons. It’s also not any more expensive.

An average loaf of bread is around $2.00 for 20 slices – or 10 cents per slice.

A case of clay pigeons is $9.00 for 90 targets – also 10 cents per target.
