This was years ago, but: A friend was coming to visit, but he missed a train connection. He sent me an email saying not to expect him on the train he had previously specified. He arrived four days before the email did.
Everything is high speed these days….automated, robotic, and stupid.
I had to text with a robot at the medical site and I spent 20 minutes trying to get help, and it said to me that he’s still trying to get used to the English language! That’s when I hung up! Ridiculous! frustrating!
