I believe I’ve read some of this arc before. It’s an enjoyable one from what I remember! If I recall correctly, while Paul and Jill are away, the mafia breaks into the house. Rather than running off scared, Buckles summons Arden with a special signal built into his doghouse. They both go inside the doghouse to grab some high-tech gear designed by Special Agent Irene Hydrant. The two disarm the mafia members without so much as a scratch and interrogate them for information. They both ended up working for Scrappy. Something, something, Scrappy gets life in prison, something, something, Paul and Jill come home, something, something, “Oh, you know, just lying around the house.” If you read everything up to this point, I’ll have you know that everything between the first two and last two sentences is completely made up by yours truly.
