We took my son to the museum around that age when they had a special exhibit on the dinosaurs. It was a traveling robotic dinosaur exhibit that came in several tractor trailers with dinosaurs painted on the side. You’d swear you met the real thing. Many would react when you walked towards them and some would growl back to you. It was amazing!

So this is where Calvin adds to his extensive vocabulary, esp. the part concerning dinosaurs.

Moms comment to Calvin suggests he bit people before - probably why the museum asked him not to come back

First story I’ve seen that actually starts mid-week.

Dino 1 …we had that here a couple of years ago. Totally cool !! You wouldn’t believe what’s in town right now though. Some show featuring dissected human bodies. REAL bodies. The show has a name but it escapes me right now…I’m a bit wonky . Really need to get to bed. But yeah….it’s a pretty big hit with a lot of people. I’ll be giving it a miss, personally.

Maybe they won’t recognize him.

Now if you could get dinosaurs near a camp ground, you’d have both Dad and Calvin happy.

Has anyone else taken a quick first glance at Calvin in panel 2 and seen him as Susie (with the black tire background as her hair)?

Calvin may be the littlest dinosaur, but it’s the little ones you have to look out for.

Sadly, I can relate: I had my 5 year old at Kennedy Space Center a couple of months ago. My sister was with us, and he was play punching her all day. We get on an elevator, my Son rears back, and whack! Right in her hiney…except it wasn’t my Sister who was in front of him. Luckily, the lady had a great sense of humor and laughed…

Oh Calvin… Can I trade you places??? I don’t want to go to the dentist!! You could bite him for me while pretending to be said dinosaur!

Birds: the ultimate Dinosaur survivors. Calvin needs to be a Stegosaurus (with its “Thagomizer”) or an Anklyosaurus to club people rather than bite them.

FROM CALVIN’S VIEWPOINT: The mighty T-Rex enters the clearing in the forest, full of unsuspecting grazing animals.

FROM EVERYONE ELSES’ VIEWPOINT: The grimacing little boy making strange noises entered the room.

Calvin really gets in to it. Did Mom & Dad clear this with the museum staff or are they going with the wishful thinking that nobody there remembers Calvin.

Maybe the museum banned Calvin for a year or so, hoping he’d grow out of the biting people phase, and that ban has expired?

According to one of my favorite movies, “Jurassic Park,” the little velociraptors were a whole lot scarier and definitely more dangerous than any other dinosaur in the entire park no matter how big they were … including the T-Rex!

The monstrous Calvinasaurus will now go in the building and feed on assorted patrons - the fierce look on its face is a “dead” giveaway…..

Maybe some kid was feeding or annoying him. More likely annoying him.

Perhaps they should visit Dinosaur National Park here in Colorado.

I’m not so sure about “Jurassic Park” - remember, the Velociraptors lost against T. rex in the end. T. rex got the drop on one and the other died because it was crazy enough to attack back.

On the other hand, in one of the sequels Spinosaurus took out T. rex in the very first round.

I hope he’s at least had his rabies shots this time!!
