And Mom will have to clean up the mess.
Which show of which Calvin’s father disapprove and Hobbes would also dislike could have aired back then and is no longer aired?
Maybe stay up past bedtime too?
I’ll enjoy it even if I hate it.
Mind you, the mess would be quite small, and as an added bonus he won’t be bothered by Zombies..
Dad should lay down the law and brook no argument, if you ask me.
Sometimes I wish I could get my kids to turn on YouTube for a few minutes (we only use our tvs to play DVDs) and leave me alone.
Two can play that game, time for Dad to be sneaky and trip the breaker, as a bonus he can tell Calvin that the show he was watching broke the TV set.
TV will rot your mind and ruin your eyes. (Read Mad Comics instead.)
This was our Saturday. Cartoons, wrestling then monster movies. Why would anyone want to go outside? Yuck

After all, Americans have rights!
You have them for them to ooze.
Modern culture in a nutshell.
One year for vacation we told the kids they would not spend the week looking at boxes (the television or video games). We have a picture of their response. They had set up empty cardboard boxes and each one was intently staring at a box.
Sitting opposite to idiot box has it’s own frills and charms even though there is crap being doled out.
