Mothers are very good at fixing these kind of problems.

Even if Dad does bolt the bed to the ceiling, there’s still the issue of the blanket.

10 foot ceilings? Who pays these heat bills???

Calvin says “fun” because he barely has to do anything.

Calvin hasn’t thought this through. There’s a couple of issues he didn’t consider: #1 and #2.

This whole story arc reminds me of an old Chuck Jones cartoon where the two mice Hubie and Bertie constructed this upside down room, with furniture nailed to the ceiling, in order to confuse Claude Cat.

Your digestive tract will not be too happy about this arrangement, I believe.

Anything that Mom and Dad won’t be happy about is fun to Calvin!

I think his polarity will suddenly become “fixed” once he sees his parents.

The reason we don’t see Hobbes today is he’s appearing as a radio host over in Brevity!

Look at the bright side, Calvin. At least Mom and Dad won’t ask you to mow the lawn.

Dad doesn’t have to do anything to the bed. Just throw him under his bed and let the monsters sort him out… ☺

The most fun I ever had was in a Motel 6 just outside of Boise.

Maybe your mom will make you an upside-down cake.

At least he’s seeing the up side of the situation.

He’ll have to get food and drink in squeeze tubes astronaut-style (can you say “Tang”?)

So if they bolted Calvin’s bed on the ceiling… when monsters came out at night they’d have a really nasty surprise, right? AmIright? :D

I’m always amazed by Calvin’s imagination.

I think Mom & Dad over-medicated him, so enjoy the experience!!!

Looking forward to seeing his sour puss when he realizes that this is just his overactive imagination.
