Try insulting them, Calvin. Always works on Susie.

Yet he self-proclaims to be a genius!!

This is a real old one.

As long as I don’t  try to catch them, I’m allowed to believe that I’m smarter than a fish…

Fish aren’t biting because they know Hobbes is around.;-D

He’s the fish out of water here….

You’re holding the bucket too high, Calvin. Place it in the water, that might give you a better chance.

“Here, fish!”

Try giving them compliments.

The new game show: “Are you smarter than a school of fish?”

You can tune a guitar and you can tune a piano but you can’t tunafish ! Bwaa,ha,ha, snort!

As an adult, we know it is “Here, fishy, fishy, fishy.”

I’m pretty sure flying fish don’t live near Calvin.

Replace the bucket with the latest iPhone release. Or jab.

He doesn’t have it quite right. “Here fishy fishy” and the right bait always worked for me!

It works better if you put the bucket in the water.

The first time I took my son fishing at 3y/o, I cast the line out and handed him the rod. he immediately reeled it in, looked at the empty hook and worm and said “There’s no fish in there Daddy.”

That’s why it’s called “Fishing” and not “Catching”.

Priceless Calvin.

Don’t ever let Calvin near some of those “fish hear everything” fishermen. You know the ones.

There’s gotta be at least one fish in there saying “hold my beer”…

And if one jumped in the bucket, I can’t picture Calvin cleaning and cooking it.
