In my short career as a snowball pitcher, I never quite achieved that “POW” effect.

Maybe my aging eyes are deceiving me but it looked like Calvin was wearing socks with two pairs of shoes!

I wonder if Calvin is related to Charlie Brown.

BTW, I thought it was Susie who threw that snowball—not Hobbes!!

Hobbes could pitch for the Detroit Tigers (that is if they ever have a baseball season this year)!

Sometimes wisdom and karma hit us at the same time. It’s never pretty.

Panel 3 brought back a vivid memory of those galoshes, heavy rubberized boots that you wore over your shoes on snowy days walking to school. Galoshes and snow mostly gone now.

Reality check – Suzy or some other kid threw the snowball, but in his schizoid imagination it was Hobbes.
