slobber therapy priceless
Besides, everyone knows that before you even reach this point, to avoid wrinkles from the start, you need to hyrdrate from the inside out with flax seed oil and evening primrose oil. Topical solutions other than non clogging, healing oils are ineffective.
Look! That’s all the love she ever gets since she got married.
Doggy kisses and kitty kisses are good for the soul as well as the skin!!
Another face treatment that’s good for clogged and enlarged pores as well as getting rid of blackheads is to put lemon juice on the skin. Let it sit for a few minutes then wash off. It clears the blackheads and shrinks the pores.
I use this one myself, so I can attest that it works.
It never ceases to amaze me, our love affair with animals. We wouldn’t let our kids lick our faces, but an animal that uses it’s tongue to wipe it’s butt with. NO PROBLEM. Ugh……..to each his own, I guess.
If animals had the power of discernment…..they too would place conditions on their affections, as everyone should if we are to call ourselves a civilized society. They don’t know any better, however, the issue is how they clean themselves and then lick your face. The rest is irrelevant to the subject of my comment.
Thanks for the tip, funnyfan928. I’ve got a teenaged son who I hope will let me experiment on him. At least lemon juice isn’t some “girly cosmetic” so there’s a chance. Will real lemon juice from a bottle work?
The dogs are sweet – but hold the slobber. I have a cat that drools all over me and if I don’t let her get close enough to hit the mark, she shakes her head and gets me that way. Gotta love her though and I do appreciate the affection.
None of my dogs ever really licked our faces Vicki, but they show affection, which is what the strip intended to convey. Sorry your kids lick people, and that your creatures aren’t given the credit of knowing what they’re doing, but your slobbering children are. You said it, not me.
Vldazzle. I like parrot kisses too. I recently lost one of my two. It’s awfully hard to move forward without her.
On the last two arrows that point to the two dogs, instead of triangles for arrowheads, there should be heart shapes! In fact, at first I thought that’s what they were, but when I looked closer, I could see I was mistaken.
Forgive me…..obviously, if your dogs have never licked your face…….then no dog has ever licked anyone’s face, nor given them kisses right on the lips, and I must have hallucinated all of those times I saw this happen. But, you never got licked, so no one ever has…..is this what you are attempting to convey? My children don’t lick anyone’s faces and I don’t believe I ever said that. In fact, I never mentioned MY children, I merely made an observation and used “children” as my example.
Have a great day. I’m done commenting on this, less I turn into a complete idiot, trying to argue a point with a total stranger who’s opinion I could care less about.

Personally, I prefer the slobber of children.

Glad to hear it. Nobody cares about the opinions of animal haters. “UGH!”
