HAHA! Cathy purchases again… I wonder how far in debt her and Irving are? I think Suzie Orman would deny her that bathing suit.

Those salesladies can be so motherly - to creatures other than their customers. “We’ll keep its little hanger out”.

If that pile of clothing on the counter is returns from Cathy, she isn’t really spending that much money. She is recycling a fixed amount.

Yes, the mirrors in the stores always make you look better. It’s amazing how clothes look once you get them home and are modeling them in front of your own mirror. Then again, maybe it’s just the adrenaline from shopping wearing off…

How ‘bout they make the mirrors used in stores availible for purchase so we can use them in our homes? Would put an end to the ‘Mean girl’ mirror at home, the returning of clothes AND possibly stop spending money at the shrink’s.

I’m 57, and I never even suspected there was such a thing as “modeling them in front of your own mirror.” Why would anyone want to do such a thing?

Then again, I can’t recall ever having returned clothes that I’d bought, except once in recent years to exchange for an identical item in a more correct size.

I just can’t get my mind around having to shop twice for one thing. Shopping once for something is time-consuming enough, and it takes me months or even years to get around to it. I fully realize that some shoppers have a life and yet shop also, but I can’t figure out how …

The mirror at home is the honest mirror.
