Ouch, 5 totally weird people after my first night back to work is too much to handle. And I’m also too young to get what they’re talking about. I’ll Google it later.
To bed. It was a good night. Freezing cold, but nice to be out there again. Hi fellow Cathyites. Too tired to write more just now.
Groan… just when I thought I had purged that terrible product from my brain. “Take Me to the River…” or should it be nuthouse?Good morning, JanuAaronry! How did your first day back at work go? I bet it was nice to be there.BTW, you’re not too young for Big Mouth Billy Bass. It was popular around the year 2000. Maybe you were lucky enough not to be subjected to the hype. Hello to Susan, GsMom (it was nice to hear from you!), gmforde, rgcviper, Mai Tai, KFG and all the other Cathy nuts rolling around here today!
No pushing each other’s buttons? Well that’s nuts. Why go to work then? Geez. I imagine her co-workers are more ‘normal’ than Cathy.
Cathy’s buttons line up like those on a blender—1) Normal 2) Weird 3) Eye roll 4) Nut job and 5) OMG! The #1 button is shiny and relatively new. Numbers 4 and 5 are pretty worn out.
Hi lookingup, KFG later maybe? GsMom tomorrow (busy today she said). Fellow Apple fan Susan Aaron is sure loving his new Macbook. You as well? Hello to the rest of the Cathyites.
Dinner tonight (which Aaron made today) is called Chinese Pie where we’re from. It’s neither Chinese nor pie. It’s a layer of ground beef and/or ground turkey, plenty of onions, layer of cream-style corn, and topped with smashed potatoes. Ever had it? If so, what does your region call it?
@Billy, I hope the onions were well cooked. I never heard of this idea. It sounds like some sort of comfort food. The Big mouth Bass fad was still going 2 years after this was written. One of my soon-to-be ex co-workers got one as a joke for a going away gift. He was not happy, and we were embarrassed that our supervisor thought it was a great idea. I’m sure by springtime all of these things were broken in some way(maybe accidentally on purpose by the boss?) Who says Cathy is the only whacko in her office? lol
Ok I remember the silly singing fish…they were so annoying!!…..and I’m younger than Aaron so he must remember them…or he just blocked it out…..either way * eye roll * :)
