Have a great time and don’t worry about your girl. I’ll give her lots of love and reassurance while you’re gone.

@lightenup the poor toddler died yesterday. She is in heaven with the rest of her family. Meanwhile, it snowed a whole half inch here last night. Another oopsie here. Why they keep doing this to poor Cathy I don’t know. She has enough to deal with. lol

For some unknown reason, the CATHY Sunday strips have been missing. Inquiring minds want to know why.

Wow! Does it ever take a long time to read 10 days worth of comments (this strip is the only one I will read the previous comments – good thing or I would never catch up!)!To those who commented on my absence or wished me well this past week – Thank you. It feels good to be part of another family.The show was a success however I was disappointed that my wife and older daughter could not attend as planned – we got hit with snow and very high winds on Saturday. We all felt it best that they not attempt the highways in those conditions. Felt really bad about it until I saw the pictures from the results of the tornadoes in the U.S. That quickly put my disappointment into perspective! My heart goes out to all those who have to endure the results of Mother Nature’s fury.I too noticed the absence of KFG’s posts the past couple of days. I hope she is well and just too busy to post.Got to try to catch up on work now – will try to get back later today.

Before I forget (or before Billy forgets) we’ll be off on Thursday and through the weekend. My bud bought tickets to see The Lion King on Broadway. From there we’re going home to NH.

How can Irving stand in front of Cathy and say to her with a straight face that he’s “just no good at goodbyes” after the complete fool he just made out of himself saying goodbye to Vivian?!? What a doofus!!!!! If he weren’t so crazy over his dog I’d call him a lost cause!

Dr. Billy: So sorry to hear about that vicious attack you suffered a few years back. Thank goodness you survived and those good samaritans nearby that witnessed the whole thing were able to catch the guy who did it and he served time for it. Eight years wasn’t nearly enough in my opinion but at least while he was there, sitting in his tiny little cell . . . day after day . . . week after week . . . month after month . . . year after year . . . thinking about what it is he did that put him in there . . . maybe, hopefully, it’s made him a much better, more tolerant, more understanding person today than he was back then???

lightenup: Doesn’t it just break your heart to hear the story about the little girl who survived the tornado that killed her parents and two siblings — only to finally die from the injuries she suffered in it too? She was known as “the miracle baby” and everyone was just so hopeful she’d survive and live a long and happy life. It’s all just so tragic.

 

Then, to make matters worse for all those poor people who lost everything in the tornadoes, it snowed last night and early this morning too. I don’t know how much they got in Henryville and Marysville but a ruler measurement out in my back yard this morning showed a layer of snow between 4-1/2 and 5 inches deep. Our high here for today was predicted to be 48 degrees and it must have gotten there because already, quite a bit of it has melted away. Tomorrow’s high is supposed to be around 60 degrees so what doesn’t go today will definitely be gone then. But those people there are a tough bunch. They have a lot of faith and because of that, they’ll find a way to survive the devastation and rebuild their towns and their lives.

The little red heart over Vivian’s head says a lot. I think I saw one over LMB’s head once, but I can’t be sure. His halo was shining extra bright that day. :-D

 

GsMom sad to say so but Aaron regrets saying the “I love you bud” that started that. The guy overheard him saying it in a restaurant. We weren’t holding hands or doing anything inappropriate in public. Just four little words that mean the world to me. Always have, always will. If my Mom and Dad can love and accept Aaron and me, then so can others.

 

lindz.coop is right about the younger generations to come who will outgrow the hate. A lot of them already have.

I hadn’t had a good, ol’-fashioned eye-roll from “Cathy” for quite some time … HADN’T. Now things are back to normal.

Hello evening posters… Just a note (or 4) before I finish doing my night chores.WELCOME BACK, HENDELCA!! I know that it can take a while to get back into the swing of things so I wasn’t sure when you’d show up here, but we’re glad you took the time to catch up and come by. :-) You might have said this before, but I’ll ask anyway: what kind of show was it? Glad it went okay, even though it would have been better with your family…@ gmforde & GsMom – Yes, I knew the little girl didn’t make it once they took her off of life support. How sad/sweet that her name was Angel. And then they had to deal with snow on top of the tornado. You’re right, GsMom, they are tough up there, but they do have our support and sympathy.@ Aaron & Billy – I’m sorry that you two have to go through everything that you do, but I’m glad you have each other for support and you always have friends here. You two give so much to the world that it’s sad that people just can’t see that rather than what they think is right or wrong. As lindz.coop noted, attitudes are shifting so I hope it gets better for you.@ rgcviper – Right on!! LOL! (I hope you properly warmed up since it’s been a while :-))I’m sure I forgot something, but I do remember that I wanted to say… KFG, where are you?? You didn’t find some dashing doctor and elope, did you? ;-)

My heart goes out to all those folks who lost so much in the storms.I will add them all too my praters.hi everyone gb you all.I’m sorry hope no body minds but it makes me so mad that so many can be so hateful i have had gay friends all of my life and i’’ll be 60 this year.I love them all and always will we will always be friends.I’m so happy for Billy and Aaron for being who they are i wish you both love and the best always.God loves all of us no matter what.We are all his children.
