Mom: Is it me, or do the prospects for a normal holiday newsletter in this family just keep getting worse?

Other than a full schedule with kids, now my husband is home from his business trip and he has the flu so I have a third to take care of. And my neighbor, who has both sets of parents nearby to help her, has asked me to take her daughter to a birthday party this afternoon. Really?? I feel like a single parent some days, and you have family living nearby! But they let us cut through their yard every day, so I feel obligated to say yes. Sigh… “See” you all later!p.s. We need to solve the KFG mystery. This is bothering me.
