Cathy: Irving shopped with Lydia yesterday...and then asked ME to shop with him, tomorrow. Mom: AHAH! Then it isn't serious with Lydia! Cathy: Or it's serious and he's pretending it isn't. Mom: Or it was serious until he saw you. Cathy: Or he's using me to make her jealous! Mom: Or he's using her to lure you in! Dad: Or he hates holiday shopping so much he'll do ANYTHING to get it over with! Cathy: Amazing. Mom: Men have no understanding of the male brain.
Hi Cathyites!! It’s more likely Cathy’s Dad’s remark. He hates shopping & wants to get it over with. He doesn’t care who he shops with, he isn’t interested in making anybody jealous, and doesn’t have a clue that he might be — he just doesn’t have a clue period.
