Seems like only Wednesday Cathy was just doing a “walk through women’s wear” lamenting about how “broke” she was and how today’s fashions were such a “blunder” that it made her feel better about what’s currently in her own closet. Now, just two days later she’s back at the mall and has got an armload full of those exact same “blunders” she’s being pressured to buy [and probably will!]. Well, it IS Friday which means . . . it’s PAYDAY!!!!! And as soon as she leaves the store, she’ll be broke all over again until the next Friday when she gets paid again. What a whack-a-doo!

I do have to admit that I like not having to be so formal at the office anymore. I remember the day my first boss looked at me in horror when it was moving day in the office, and I had on a pair of lined wool slacks from SFA. We simply were not allowed to wear slacks of any kind to work — and I never was allowed to wear them to school.
