My office’s refrigerator quickly became undersized, and a trip to Walmart solved that. I picked up a ‘personal’ reefer that fit perfectly under my desk.An added benefit was, when you opened it, you didn’t gag maggots on a gut wagon.

Except that that lunch is too high in sodium, sugar, and gluten for those of us who are on restricted diets. On the other hand, it’s not necessary to go whole-hog the way Cathy does. I have a low-sodium, low-carb frozen entree (they actually do exist, but you really have to look for them),a banana, and a bottle of water for lunch at work, with one peach for a mid-morning snack, and one peach for a mid-afternoon snack.

Or, the workers could just bring ONE day’s worth of food at a time … [eye-roll]

Although, it could just be a really big office. (Doubtful, but you never know.)

HI, MOM. Happy Sunday, “Cathy” Clan.

When I worked for the government from 1998 to 2001 for the 2000 Census, I rotated between several areas there that had TONS more people in them than Cathy’s office does and even though we only had one refrigerator available to us in each area, we never seemed to have a storage problem like this at all . . . but then, nobody brought 4 and 5 grocery bags full of food like this to work with them either. I wonder if they’re for the entire week because surely nobody eats that much food there in a day!

    Hi, rgcviper!

Faxon: PB&J sandwiches — only on wheat instead of white bread — a handful of potato chips and either some grapes or a banana [instead of the apple slices] sounds like the perfect lunch to me. YUM!!!!!

Hello and Happy Sunday, fellow “Cathy” friends. Hope everyone’s had a really nice weekend so far!

There was a sign on our office refrigerator: Bring your lunch for one day only. No “Costco-size” containers!
