When I had my wedding makeup “trial” done 30 years ago, I thought the makeup artist was kidding – it seemed like way too much. However, she pointed out that if I didn’t do it heavier than normal, I would look washed out in the photos. So I went with what she suggested, and the pictures looked great. I still do what I jokingly call my “Kabuki Makeup” for skating and dance performances.
I didn’t wear any make-up. I just went as myself! But then I never have worn the stuff, apart from a few experiments with a friend when we were 13-14.
My friend still uses make-up, but I never have done.
Yeah, way too much. I agree with drbethsk8s too, where you need some makeup to look good in the photos, but this will still look bad. And what is that around her eyes? Looks like dirt….Hello Cathy friends! Thank you for your messages about Jr’s thumb! She is dealing with it well, esp since I don’t like to look at it. ;-) Enjoy your time in Hawaii, hendelca!! I guess I’m afraid that my senior cats will get mauled and they will be miserable and act out by peeing everywhere (or they’ll just be miserable which is also bad). As for Cathy, her hair and make-up is WAY over the top and the whole thing should definitely be rethought. If she doesn’t, even her bestest of friends will be making fun of her behind her back!

Way over the top….she looks like a clown. I just wore my usual makeup…a little shadow and a little pink on the cheeks…the pics came out fine. I also wore my hair down.
