I always ask with these gift exchanges if we could all just chip in a few bucks and donate it to charity instead. Nine out of ten times, money’s wasted on things people don’t want or need. But usually, nobody or a few like the practical idea. Most prefer the impractical and waste money

Cathy should have already left this crazy store and gone some-

where else by now, but since she doesn’t have enough sense to do that . . . she needs to go back to the $2.99 snowman ornament table instead. They’re not only under the already agreed-upon money limit but they’re probably really cute too. How could some-thing like that not be a welcome addition to anyone’s Christmas tree? Personally, I can’t stand snow and if I lived in a place where I never had to see it again, I wouldn’t miss it. At all. But I think snowmen/women/kid Christmas ornaments are completely adorable and I’ve got all kinds/shapes/sizes of them on my tree so I’d be a whole lot more pleased to get one of those from some-one as opposed to something else that I may not want or have a need for that I NOW have to find a way of secretly getting rid of so that the gift-giver never finds out about it and then gets their feel-ings hurt because of it. :-(

How about the $237,000 [eye-roll]? Have any of those in stock?

Yes, I agree with others… $10 is either too little for anything good, other than ornaments (although I’d only like an ornament from a friend, not a random co-worker). I like *quanyindove*’s suggestion of donating to a charity. I really like the organization, Heifer International, for a gift that keeps on giving.

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Saturday! Jr had a robotics competition today, which was interesting (although I am so sleepy because Saturday is my only day to sleep in zzzzzz…..). I hope you had a nice day!
