The right answer is “do whatever you and your partner want”! For some that means to ignore it, for others that means exchange cards, for others that means a dinner out, for others that means chocolate, flowers, fancy watches and/or jewelry. The list is endless. Why does everyone think they need to tell others what to do? Sure, the various industries would like to make some money because this is a big day for them, but no one is holding a gun to your head saying you have to do or buy anything. So just relax and laugh (or roll your eyes) at the ridiculousness that is our dear favorite whack-a-doodle, Cathy.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Wednesday! Regarding my little story yesterday, Lil came home and said she felt bad about how she reacted and apologized. She’s a good girl <3 Have a great day, all!
Dinner out and the exchanging of a nice, heart-felt card of love for each other. That’s the only thing my husband and I have done for years when comes to Valentine’s Day ….. birthdays ….. anniversaries ….. and it suits the both of us just fine. Christmas is the only excep-tion we made to the “no-gift-exchange” policy we agreed to more than 20 years ago because, well, after all, it IS Christmas so how could we not?! ;-)

Hi, rgcviper! :-)
lightenup: Congratulations! You’ve got two very special little girls that you’re doing a positively wonderful job of raising perfectly! :-)

Hello and Happy Wednesday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope everyone had a really nice day today! :-)
Yup…lightenup, your kids are great!! You’ve done a great job!! As for Cathy, it’s what you make of it…why does everybody get so up tight about something that was just meant to show some form of affection to the person you love….nevermind I know.

So what do men get for valentines day? Easy. Nothing, unless they get it right.

Or we could try to just enjoy the day, couldn’t we? Of course, then we wouldn’t have our daily … well, y’know.
HI, MOM. Greetings, Clan.
