Cathy Classics by Cathy Guisewite for January 10, 2020
Transcript:
Cathy: We already have months of TV shows taped that we haven't seen. Now you're recording two shows an hour, four hours a night, seven nights a week. At this rate, we'll have 58,000 hours of TV shows taped by the time we retire and have time to watch them! Irving: We already have enough "CSI" episodes to see us into our 80s! Once, the "nest egg." Now, the "nest DVR."

The DVR is saving memories of things we have not experienced yet so we can not understand what went on in the past, later.

Wow, that’s a lot of time spent sitting around watching shows from 2009… And I don’t even think either one of them has anything close to a nest egg. That flew away years ago!
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Friday! Have a great day, all!

What they don’t understand is retired people have less time than working people! I am not the only retiree who has said “I don’t know how I ever had time to work.”

The D.V.R.—a blessing or a curse? You be the judge.
