The one thing you cannot do is learn for your children. You can only hope they are smart enough to observe the mistakes of others rather than having to make all the mistakes themselves.

20 years ago today, I was opening a Mother’s Day card and gift from my older daughter who had it ready before I lost her on 4-30! The gift was a rose red pin! All I could do was sit down and weep. Mother’s Day will never be the same!

A mother (or father) who is always there for you is a good parent. Of course being there for you might mean administering punishment when required.

So happy fur baby moms are now being included. I’ve had a lot of those fur babies…and loved them all like children.
