Cathy: I've done everything perfectly! The new pounds are NOT MY fault! They're YOUR fault! You! Oversized portions! You! Innocent-looking mini-snacks! You! Misleading food labels! You! Hypnotizing fast food smells! You! Delusional clothing sizes! You! False-sense-of-well-being stretch fabrics! You! Stress-inducing economy! You! Sedentary-lifestyle-creating electronics! How has this changed over the past 11 years?

This is all still applicable. There are plenty of people who blame their extra weight on larger portions or food ingredients. No one is making them finish that oversized portion though, and they don’t have to buy junk food. The only people that I feel for are the ones who either live in food deserts (no, not desserts haha) or do not have access to a kitchen or a way to prepare healthy meals. For most of us, we have control over the quality and quantity of what we eat. And you can’t exercise your way out of a bad diet (or bad habits).
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Friday! Have a great day, all!

Well, it’s not totally my fault. Just pieces of me.

I must say, WW does teach you how to deal with all of those things and she left out one very important one “Food Pushers”…it took me awhile to get past the feeling that I was being rude when I turned down something I really didn’t like, or that second piece of pie, or somebody’s special homemade recipe…but I learned to do it in a nice way.

This one reminds me of a good quote I found online a while back:
“Every time you point a finger at someone else, three fingers are pointing back at you.”
