I always had high hopes for my mechanical pencils but eventually, the lead always falls out. Stick to pens.

I love lined paper.

I don’t need new scissors too often, but some of those organizing things and some pretty folders sure are fun.

The urge to buy office supplies this time of year has never left me. I ordered some pencils yesterday and fought off the urge to order composition books, binders, scissors (a 27 count pack), and so much more. I graduated from high school in the last century.

Their office supplies are their friends? Ok. Desperate much? But then nice coloured file folders do make it easier to find things in the crowded drawer. And grid paper is so neat to write and sketch on. Maybe some of my friends are office supplies too.

I still love buying pens and notebooks and such. Of course, I loved school, too. I have paper clips shaped like cats. And a pink stapler with pink staples. Sticky notes in every color and shape.

Now that I’m living 500 miles away from my family and friends, I prefer “staying close” to them through phone calls rather than notes and letters. In a situation like that, nothing in the world beats talking to someone you love and hearing the sweet sound of their voice on the other end as they talk back to you! ♥
