Ah, the power of suggestion – or an easy excuse to not work. These days flu_like symptoms are a lot scarier but then so many illnesses start with flu-like symptoms.
Like sleepycuopojow said – stay home from work if experiencing flu-like symptoms. Rats, I work at home so have no excuse.
Looks like we’re all pretty much in agreement here today. Whether it’s the real deal or (more than likely) just the power of suggestion, the entire office is now “infected” so that everyone there believes they’re sick with flu-like symptoms, as well. Way to go, Ted ….. you dumb@ss!
P.S.: You should have stayed home because I’ve got news for you: you’re (probably) nowhere near as “important” and “indispensable” to that place as you THINK you are!

Hi, rgcviper! :-)
.
Hello and Happy Tuesday, fellow “Cathy” fans. Hope you all had a really nice day today! ♥
Personally, I’ve had a nagging cough since before the holidays. It’s not COVID (tested multiple times), but it’s been irritating. At least it isn’t too bad, it’s my only symptom, and I can still work.
I read a story last week about a guy who got the prize when he retired for never having taken a day off in all his working years. The writer said she was was not so pleased about it because of all the times she (and others) had been made sick by him coming to work sick. In today’s world, that could be deadly.
