Awww . . . . I know just how you feel. It becomes a word habit to express how you empathize with everyone (not that you feel responsible for actions outside your control). Hang in there, Rabbit. You’re a good bunny!

I had a friend who was very much like Rabbit – especially in that last panel. Asking a question or being excited by Star Bunnies are not things that require an “I’m sorry”.

I hope Rabbit will gain more self-esteem through working for Cat; one should not feel the need to apologize for existing!

I love that bunny. He has been me a number of times in my life.

I also have a habit of apologizing too much.

For some people, saying sorry is just a verbal tic. Rabbit has real anxiety, poor thing.

I am sorry you feel as if you have to keep saying “I’m sorry” even when it wasn’t your fault.

Thank you soo much Matt Tarpley for this comic, It made me more social and, is one of my favorites, Rabbit or opossum are exactly like me, just anxious about everything, I’m in online school and can’t make friends like Cat, so I hope you can be my friend and keep making more of these! I am also trans and lesbian and kinda hide away my feelings :{
