I donât think the issue here necessarily is that someone may be gay (I believe it was mentioned many strips back that the brother in the middle panel is indeed gay), but that she [the Author] has some characters with misconceptions. Most learned people would know that dressing in womenâs clothing (or dressing in menâs clothing, if youâre a man) does not make you gay. Plenty of drag queens, for example, are very straight.

I was under the impression that both men AND women can be transvestites. Itâs just that women are given more leeway. A woman who wears menâs clothing would merely be called a tomboy, whereas a man who does the same thing might open themselves up to violence. Not that I am condoning it, I am merely pointing out societyâs intolerance with men who deviate from a set norm, vs. women.
