Many years ago, a coworker bought a sailboard. He went to the bay after work, excited to try it out. He came in the next day, covered in jellyfish stings. He fell about as often as the cartoon snowboarder and said, “It was great!”

Heck, even the racks in medieval torture chambers caused less pain than ski boots.

This strip is priceless – a VIVID recreation of my first day on a snowboard (almost 30 years ago!). Nowadays – I’m more agile/maneuverable/safer than 90% of the S.P.O.R.E.S. on the hill!!!
