City Code requires a durable permanent fence of at least 4’ in height at least 4’ outside of the perimeter of any exterior accessible Vortex of Death. It is also required to be noted on the home inspection form and added as a rider on the homeowner’s insurance. Most policies allow Vortex of Death insurance to be added to existing policies if a new one forms.
