Reminds me of the times I used to fall asleep listening to Morse code learning tapes with a cassette player and an old pillow speaker.

We used to call this “learning by osmosis” – except it would involve putting a textbook (or notes) under your pillow.

Technically, “learning by diffusion” would be more accurate: Information/knowledge would go from an area of high concentration (in the book) to an area of low concentration (inside one’s head).

If Doug cannot here his wife and gets a better sleep, then his game could be better. Sound scientific to me.

Bleeb certainly has observed a great deal of bizarre behavior while on the run from Dalcon.

ᴠ = the speed of sound in the medium, ᴜᴏ = the speed of the observer ᴡʀᴛ the medium, considered positive when it moves toward the source and negative when it moves away from the source, and the speed of the source is…

The only lessons I learned through osmosis was don’t wake up dad from his nap, transmitted via his hand to my glutes.

I only wish that worked. However, I’ve heard of people playing classical music to their unborn baby to teach them music! I think that was the case with Dino, who sat down at the piano and started playing at the age of three! He was amazing!
