So THAT’S what they teach at those schools. Maybe I should take one after all.

He should be glad she’s not carrying a gun.

Well, it’s sump’n we’ve all wanted to do. But she’s wearing boxing gloves… and probably has a horseshoe in one of ‘em, like in cartoons.

This is not exactly a good way to start the week, but what the heck…

GREEN PLAID ALERT! Everybody do a shot!

Unfortunately Joanne, in Texas they use guns to show their displeasure.

On a serious note, many years ago, as a very incidental part of my job, I filled in a couple of times for the guy at my company who taught the National Safety Council’s Defensive Driving Course. It is an excellent course and will teach you how to be a safer driver. I still incorporate many of the best practices I learned / taught every time I drive, and (I hope I don’t jinx myself) I have since driven well over a million miles accident free.

Does she drive with those mitts on or does she have to stop to put them on before she gets defensive?

The other driver’s own fault. I never leave my vehicle if the other person is wearing boxing gloves.

When he told Joanne to “Punch it!”, he was talking about the gas pedal.

The best defense is a strong offense. Guess a solid left jab helps, too.
