It’s a losing strategy in Risk, and in the real world as well.

I’m pretty sure Donald Trump was better than that at playing Risk. The winning strategy is to pile up your armies in Australia, let the competition fight it out then attack and clean up.

It’s a bigger move to hose the majority of consumers in the US.

If you make a country poor you can control its people. They will hunger for any scraps you throw them. They will fight for even the most menial of jobs just to have bread to eat. Keep them at odds with each other and fighting imaginary enemies, while all the time pretending you are the only one keeping them safe. Destroy their hopes and tear down their religions until you are their religion. Hunger and anger are strong emotions which can cause a population to revolt, so be swift to imprison those that speak out against you and make them disappear from the public — make the people fearful to even whisper your name. Then you will control the world.

And as far as Donald Trump goes, nothing he does is a risk, as it says on the game board. He doesn’t actually “do” anything, he bullies people into doing his dirty work for him. That way he’s never at fault.

Trump still has the mind of a child.
