Well this is it folks … a decade has come and gone (man did it go fast! I remember partying like it was 1999 … well, I did actually) … I’ve seen 3 decades (89-90, 99-00, 09-10), a century, and 30 years change over …

I resolve for 2010 to read my comics every day, and if I can’t read them on the day they are posted, GO BACK AND READ THEM!

I resolve to be a nicer man, and love everyone equally.

Oh, and GOOD JOB MICE! Keeping the revellers safe!

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE CREW, Dry you have got it in one. Tonight let’s all stop to take a moment to thank all of our troops for their service. Let’s take a moment to give thanks and remember those who have given their lives…including the 4 soldiers and reporter as of last night. HERE”S TO BETTER DECADE AHEAD!!! Oh and Bulldog…fantasy is reality’s icing! Lighten up! I LOVE THOSE MOUSIES!!!!

That’s the beauty of the comics! They take us mentally and emotionally away to places where dogs talk, mice guard us and Dagwood can consume a two foot high sandwich and not gain weight. In a world of total confusion, I can always rely on my comics. They are as relevant today as they were 70 years ago as a child and my father reading his beloved comics to me as I now do to my grandchildren! God bless America, Thank you GI’s, mice and dogs!

Way to go chip! You’ve got to admire all those who will be serving this country and its citizens. The police, firefighters and the military. They give up a lot to keep us safe. To Bulldog, I think you need to get a life if you can’t visit a fantasy world without trying to impose your “reality” on it. I love this crew, humans and animals included. You guys allways make my day. Happy New Year, Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To all of those who keep on working to keep the rest of us safe and unaware of what might happen otherwise, my deepest gratitude. I’m glad I wasn’t the only one to catch on to the artist’s salute to our defenders.

Yes!!! You are so right Pswhitlark I was remiss in not mentioning our police, firefighters, EMS units and the countless others who make all these civil services work. These men and women are HEROES!!!!

P.S. BC13 “Who peed on your cornflakes” has got to be one of the best lines of this decade!! TOO FUNNY!!!

Lett me clarify, service includes ALL service: military, fire, EMS, and police!

I’m glad to have tickled y’all, but at the time I was a little ticked-off with his remarks on this and other strips. This is not the only strip where Bulldog’s comments have disappeared, though not all of them have gone away…at least not yet.
