Good for you, Nate! I’m impressed that you included cats, given the war on cats on your ship.

Good morning, Crew! (All rescues here also. One is a “hard to place” cat due to her skittish personality.)

You Go Nate!!!!! Both our cats are rescues. They are black and the hardest to adopt …such a silly thing. My little American Eskimo was also adopted. He passed 2 years ago just short of 10 which was amazing given the horrible previous life he had. Our Sheltie was a “planned” fur kid…..but if I had the dough I’d adopt a resuce Sheltie as well. Sweet, sweet dogs! Have a great day Maties!!!!

Nate, I can’t afford an animal … let alone myself! BUT, please, feel free to come destroy my soon-to-be-ex-landb*tches house any time you wish. haha

Please help control the pet population. Have your pet spayed or neutered. I’m Bob Barker.

We run a refuge for miscreant Huskies and Malamutes. We also have a number of other dogs, from Beagles to Eskies, plus cats and tropical birds. All except one Cockatoo are rescues. And I wonder why there’s always too much month left at the end of the money. LOL! Amen, Bob!

All this spaying and neutering is making me dizzy! I am with Allan as we cannot have a pet for various reasons. But I don’t want my house hit with cannonballs!

    Good Morning, Crew!

We kid that we run a home for geriatric (rescue) pekes. Talk about the gamut of personalities plus. Our oldest is 18, the youngest is 6. She is still puppyish, but came to us because of a myriad of health problems and being undersize (even her liver is too small for her tiny body). I affectionately refer to her as my little alien Angel. Tell it, Nate - Adopt a rescue - you will never regret it!!

All my pets were rescues. I now have a cat (rescued from under a porch) and Scout, a lab mix (Wis Humane Society). Scout is my lap dog. We all know who’s in charge at my house!

Dogs and cats are just balls of love wrapped in fur. Put some unconditional love in your house today.

Hey Nate!, how about sending some of those cannonballs at animal abusers - no court in the country will convict ya’

OK, Nate. You sold me, but now I have to convince my roomie.

Maybe I can convince her to let me take on a foster puppy for a little while.

Nate should add, “Adopt a pet and get it fixed, or I’ll fix your house for good.”

Just to be on the safe side.

Why am I reminded of a sign on a vet clinic? “Spay or neuter your best friend”

Our dog was one of a litter from a friend who got a pregnant dog dropped off at his farm, so it was sort of a rescue. Really great dog! Great Pyranees, Chow & Shepherd.

Don’t adopt a pet unless you have time for it - do the research first. But they are great. My cats have always been either from the shelter or a giveaway from someone who was trying to give away kittens.

Don’t buy pet shop animals! A lot of them have been inbred and not well taken care of - you’re probably safer with a breed rescue organization if you want a purebred.

All 7 of my cats are rescued. They just keep coming to my home. One of my cats, my daughter went all the way across the country and flew back to get him, that belonged to my son, who couldn’t take him with him. Yeah, he’s a spoiled kitty:)
