there has to be a balance between being a champion athlete and the price you pay to become an athlete.
the win at all costs (or any cost) attitude leads to terrible abuses of peopleâs health. Ben made the right choice for Ben, even if the team decides to get rid of him because he made it. More players need to recognize the fact that âplaying hurtâ makes the risk of âhurt worseâ, or âhurt againâ, or âpermanent injuryâ even greater.
