My, that’s quite a sermon for so early in the morning. The early Christians “had all things in common…and parted them to all men, as every man had need.” Acts 2:44-45. Sounds like Socialism to me.
And now our friends in the red state party have chosen the Pharisee route that their Savior abhorred, As their “opposites” choose the Saducee road. things firming up for end times even as Russia poses to invade Iran at the drop of a missle. People need to be saved, not converted to a party. I believe that’s Mike’s unwritten message here.
@Nabuquduriuzhur,Do you always generalize? “From GenX on, one finds no born again believers in the party.”Both my sons are in their 20s, both are born again, practicing Christians, both have been church members since they 16, both have been registered to vote since they turned 18, both of them have always voted straight Democrat.
As a group that has been living voluntary, God-inspired communism for some 1500 years now, I can say that, in small groups, communism does make sense—when the members are inspired by a higher call, and when they are willing to go through a reform every century or two.
Being a true Christian I think that Nabuquduriuzhur’s comments ring true… Most Christians were part of the Democratic Party until it turned. twisted in my view.. I myself am left thinking well where else do you go? If the Christians go to the Republicans and they listen to our point of view… then that’s where I will go…

The preacher must be reading the Conservapedia version of the bible, also known as the gospel according to Schlafly.

For a correction on the needs of Christians, John MacArthur’s the Gospel According to Jesus. You might need to look up the definition of KING.
