It looks more like a “Jaws” hat (the shark’s dorsal fin, you know!).

I thought it was a Merlin hat. (Just kidding, everyone. I knew Jason was going to say Gandalf before reading the final panel.)

Just so we are clear, on the (correct) types of hats…Albus Dumbledore wears a Tassel Hat.Gandalf “The Grey” wears a Wide Brim Wizard Hat.

Looks more like a dunce cap.

It’s only obvious to those of us who are old enough to remember the movie, which was released almost 40 years ago. Today’s generation wouldn’t have had the slightest idea what I was talking about if I hadn’t “explained the obvious.”

The hat also changes color in the books y’know

legaleagle is right. It doesn’t look like any type of wizard hat — it looks like a shark’s fin.

Eileen’s not a very good fan if she thinks that looks like Dumbledore’s hat. Even someone who’s only seen Harry Potter movie trailers would know better than that!

They are obviously of different beliefs. A marriage between them would never last due to irreconcilable differences.

Be interesting to see what happens if they ever become teenagers…my guess is that Jason’s head just explodes every other week.

and everyone here knows that Gandalf was Gandalf the Grey and passed a test to become the White and earn his White robes. Everyone also notices even in the books it talks about Saruman’s robes became grey because he had down graded himself.

It looks to me like the idiotic sorting hat (not as asinine as quidditch, but among the many “aw, c’mon” elements of an otherwise sensational series of books).

Eileen knows better, but she knows how to get a reaction out of Jason. That girl is always two steps ahead of him….
