Reminds me of George and Jane Jetson where Jane takes all of George’s wallet instead of (a probable) $20 he was offering to give her as he dropped her off at the mall after dropping Elroy and Judy at school and before dropping himself at work.

Just to be the boring guy, what sense does her statement make? It takes maybe 3 seconds to tell him low-fat or regular; it’ll take 20 minutes at least to go to the store.

Get 2%, when she complains tell her that’s why you asked and at least you got the one in the middle.

I find it odd that her sleeves are red in the last panel.

The supermarket – if I go early enough in the morning.

Depends. But when I go to the grocery store, I buy too much because I sometimes go when I’m hungry. I KNOW, I KNOW, NEVER EVER DO THAT! :-)

My husband’s a great shopper. I’m far to grateful to not have to spend the extra time shopping to ever be rude to him like that. And I can see no reason to smart off at him if he asks me something intelligent like 2% or skim. I just tell him what we need.

The bank, of course. At the supermarket, you have to interact with people. The bank is automated (and there’s probably one in the supermarket).

There’s a lot less traffic in the aisles at 7 AM than 11 AM.

Hey Fellow Baby when I’m off and it’s the weekend, I’ll be darned if I will get up early to get to the grocery store at 7AM, let alone 11AM. I am usually up by 9 but I like my coffee, my comics, my such as it is, newspaper, before I venture out on the weekend. LOL!

The empty aisles are all worth it to me, Fellow Baby. Speed shopping ain’t the same when you gotta do it OJ Simpson style trying to get to the car rental company, dodging airport traffic. Intentionally hitting fellow shoppers with your cart, stiff-arms and elbows don’t give you extra discounts on your shopping bill.
