I’m surprised Rose wants out, but maybe it’s the idea of doing a duet with Jimbo that’s turning her off. Somehow I doubt Jimbo is much of a singer.

actually, i suspect Jimbo has a lovely light tenor best suited to old fashioned love songs and only used when completely alone with Rose. She doesn’t like to share. LOL.

It’s way too early to use the signal, they might as well just run away screaming.

No is a perfectly acceptable answer and always has been. Any hostess would not push the issue and make their guest uncomfortable..

I’d gladly take their place. I recently sang six songs at the Eastern States Exposition karaoke, one of which was a special request for a couple who were observing their 24th wedding anniversary. Someone told me that it takes guts to stand up and sing in front of people, but that person might have a talent I don’t have and can do it confidently.Rose and Jimbo probably have talents for something else.“To Each His Own”
