I thought it was bizarre that heād want to advertise himself as a gentile, but his dad caught on right away. (Back when my kids were younger, I used to get their point through their misspellings pretty quickly myself.) Yes, he could call himself a gentile, but Iām certain he was trying to call himself gentle.
Which means that his retort at the end is just the cartoonist tweaking us. (Or, if Joe really is a genius, itās Joe tweaking us.)
