Clovia was born on Sunday, 05/15/1949, in the back of a cab. Skeezix and Nina were headed to the maternity ward, but there was a traffic jam, and a policeman handled the delivery.
Slim and Clovia are both 60 and still have some time before they decide to retire at 65 but look at Uncle Corky he is still going strong at the diner at 81 yet. Corkyâs son Adam has a farm. Eve, well she probably gets welfare living as a biker chick and we havenât heard anything about Nubbin in over 30 years. Rover we know is a forest ranger but just what Gretchen is up to Lord knows! Jim doesnât keep us abreast very well on extended family as Moores , Bill Perry and Frank King did.
TipsyTopsy said, It would be nice to have an occasional update as to what all the various members of the Wallet clan are doing.
There are so many of them! I would especially like to see the Sundays feature one-shots of some of the âlost Walletsâ⊠a little update, a little gag.
This strip looks VERY close to a similar situation years ago when Skeezix was giving another speech, right down to the gang at the garage âbecomingâ busy when he arrived!

Offer him a free dinner Skeezix and heâll listen to anything you have to say.

Suds is a veteran, isnât he?

So it sounds as though his speech has the effects of inducing sleep AND heightening task focus in normal, healthy adults.
Iâd like to hear that speech during times when Iâm drowning in complicated and stressful projects at the office!

Shouldnât the âchildrenâ be about 60 years old themselves, and looking to retire in a few years?

Early 60âs, Luggage, but who can afford to retire these days?

The Wallets WERE the heart and soul of GA, but we have devolved down to Slim, Gertie and Rifus & Joel being the bulk of the story line.

âMr. Wallet?â thirty-five years as a son-in-law, and Skeezix is still Mr. Wallet?

Joe-Allen âJoeâ Doty said, Some people never call their inlaws by their 1st names.
I still find it awkward after many years.
alondra about 15 years ago
I would hate to call my mother in law by what children call me. We both have the same last name and it would just same strange to me.
