This Dick Tracy is one wacky detective. Heā€™s gonna be searchin for this goofy kid, the one whose dad looks like a clogged up Don Imus, and Iā€™ll bet he finds The Asp and Punjab!!!!! Oh wait, I think Iā€™m in the wrong cartoon. I need help getting out of here Aunt Marg!!!!! Maybe Iā€™ll eat a slice of my banana roseanna danna cake. Thatā€™ll calm me down.

No wonder the kid is so vicious! They named him Ludwig!

With a moniker like that, Iā€™d steal my dadā€™s prize Strad, too!

I heard of ā€œTipping Cowsā€ but never ā€œStealing Pigsā€ We have a deeper mystery going on in the comment section than we do in the comic strip!!!

Hi margueritem, thanks for the pig fix this morning! I see not only did the Pig disappear yesterday but also did some of the comments!

Looks like we will be monitored closely again for a few days.

The story line today is really atrocious!

The pivotal action point of this story occured on January 9th, thatā€™s 4 weeks ago on the theft and sale of the violin !

What of consequence has happened since ? Not much really ā€¦ in those 75 daily panels available. Hard results were ā€¦*

    # Father and son had a fight # Chief Lizz persuades Tracy to take a minor case.

    Started/in progress:

Purchaser calls cratsman to electrify violin - to be completed.

Son walking around in snowfall on phone trying to recruit members for a rock band - still to come togather..

In terms of progress itā€™s lke the Mummy walking in those Horrow pictures of long ago. Left foot forward then the right ā€¦ slowly d-r-a-g-g-e-d from behind

Must agree with leakysqueaky712, the villain does resemble Danny Devito as the Penguine in Batman.

Eight times the maestro has vowed to kill Hope the son has made his will Five times it was before the law Could this prove a fatal flaw? Richie, Hendricks and those from E street Bruce, and Janet we are soon to meet By introducing them to the strip Lochers attempts to be hip A Sontaran has obtained the fiddle What his plans are remains a riddle I think I know what he plans to do Heā€™s going to use it against Dr. Who Thereā€™s a lack of mystery and a lack of thrills But at least we have the Pig on Wheels The censors strike, but praise to Margueritem Sheā€™s a feisty one and so will fight ā€˜em Some complain about our toy Seeking to deny us this small joy Why they do this is anyoneā€™s guess Perhaps theyā€™ll step forward and confess Theyā€™re demeanor reminds me of a Harpy Or maybe I am just being snarky

    Margā€¦

The ā€œflagā€ appears to be almost touching your picture of the POW. It may be that people are trying to click on the pig and hit the flag accidentally. That seems far-fetched, though. Other possibility is just that goComics doesnā€™t want anything but text in the comments. Maybe because it takes up too much disc space? Not likely, but I hope itā€™s not what you suspect. That would be really ugly.

    ā€œBruce?ā€

    ā€œHendricks?ā€

    (Is the misspelling intentional?)

    ā€œSome E-street guys?ā€

If by ā€œrock group,ā€ the kid means an oldies nostalgia band that will play at county fairs, car shows, and corporate Christmas parties, then yeah, I guess heā€™s putting together a rock group.

Telly has the violin back. I thought Half Note wrapped it and gave it to Chris Chendo with the doctorā€™s bag of money. Is he holding the electrified version already? Wait a minuteā€¦ I believe he is holding a pole. Heā€™s getting ready to pole dance, I bet!

Kojak hasnā€™t a clue about fine instruments. If you have a Strad or a Guinari, you play it every day to keep it accoustically fit.

I had hoped that this installment would move much faster than the circus affair did but as usual I was wrong. Hell the comment section is much more entertaining than the strip is! Can we sue? I like to know who replace Dick Tracy with this garbage.

The avatar I see for margueritem is the ā€œPig on Wheelsā€ today. Seems the earlier LARGE display of the Pig has been removed/ censored ?

Yet looking back in time the larger presentation was allowed to remain on Dec.23 & 25 and on Jan. 1 & 4

It may well be a question of who was on duty that day (?)

Wonder Warthog, I canā€™t claim credit for the Sontaran reference; somebody else made the observation first, and I merely jumped on the bandwagon!

I find it comforting though, that there are so many people still alive who get old-school Dr. Who references. As long as this is true, civilization will have a shred of hope!

Will Telly sell the electrified Stradivarius back to Kid Vicious (fna Ludwig Harmonic) to use in his group, The Ringtones? But, Telly says that the Stradivarius is something you donā€™t practice onā€¦ so K.V. will need a practice violin. The current story is becoming very exciting when one makes up their own version of it.

I sure hope someone finds a way to restore the Pig on Wheels to the comments.
