I used to sing the word to the tune of some African (?) folk song they taught me in school in the late 60s. Iâd sing it now, but âvisual medium.â
Classiest example I can think of is âAnd the silken, sad, uncertain rustling of each purple curtainâ in âThe Ravenâ â all those sâs suggesting the rustling.
Okay, todayâs gag just doesnât make sense. I know what an onomatopoeia is, but the punchline just doesnât work with the build-up; if thereâs a joke here, what is it?
