i had a VW bug that the motor for the windshield wipers quit during a storm… it was fun trying to drive home using a squeegie to clear the rain

The wipers must be a VW thing. The bolt connecting the wipers to the motor shaft fell off in my 81 Vanagon while driving in the rain on I-5. My son crawled into the drivers seat while I was under the dash trying to put it back together.
