Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
You know it would be nice if the zoom feature of this site would actually bring up a higher resolution image of the comic. I canât read the witty repartee of âDolf the puppet.
A rough translation of Adolfâs socalled gibberish is:
âIt is the last territorial claim that I will make in Europe,
But it is the claim from which I will not retreat, and which, God willing, I will make good.â
Itâs a quote regarding the annexation of Czechoslovakiaâs Sudetenland under the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Munich_Agreement as far as I can tell.
âŠThis has nothing to do with this fantastic comic, except that this awesome collection of comic genius made me think of it..At work a couple weeks ago our supervisor wrote this on the board:âWORK WILL MAKE YOU FREEâ Wondering why this saying was on the board,I Googled it..it was from AushcwitzâŠa few days later..the sign was stolen..in my tiny world that made me scratch my noggin and pull up my knickersâŠ
it is interesting that the translation of dolph the puppetâs rant includes the words âgod willingâ
our jihadist friends like to say the same thing before they kill innocent peopleâŠ.
thereâs something about invoking godâs name that seems to inspire or qualify people to do unimaginable things to one another
no big news flash there, of course. donât even get me started on the inquisition or the crusades or the âwitchâ burning
Hitlerâs private statements are a mixed bag indicating he didnât think so much of mainstream religion either, but he knew what words the German people wanted to hear.
Pab: Not to pick nits, but could you please include subtitles in cases like this ? I couldnât even tell what language Dolph was using until I enlarged the strip several hundred percent.
Otherwise - Genius!

I was just inspired by the idea of Hitler as Mr. Punch. âOoo, I been naughty. Shame shame shame.â
