And oh no, they’re the only ones on the moving staircase! They’re stranded!

I hate that weird feeling when you get on an elevator that’s stopped.

Even while in motion, I consider them to be stairs to be climbed – unlike those lumps of lard who just stand there.

Left foot, right foot, left foot ……..

Sounds like something Homer Simpson will say.

In event of an emergency, your escalator can become a stairway.

I’m always afraid my feet will get stuck underneath when you get to the "getting off point’! :-D

Try sliding down the railing. Especially fun if the escalator is still running.

If you set off a Slinky at the top of an elevator going up, would it ever reach the bottom?

It is not safe to wear “crocs” type rubber shoes, or to go barefoot, when riding an escalator. Children have been injured that way, according to the news.
