    And thank goodness the colorists read the script this time. It would have fallen flat if the pumpkin had been orange! (There are some lovely blue pumpkins they grow here as well as the white.)

    Yes, Junieb, the pink pumpkins are to raise breast cancer research funds. I believe the farmers have pledged to donate 25cents from each pumpkin sell to research.

    I have raised blue pumpkins, mini-punks, and classic jack-o-lantern gourds. The blues got lots of comments.
